  1. Anyone know if nokia phones work well with boost?

  2. I think you need to rephrase your question, there are different kind of setting you might need maybe its MMS or internet, but just for the basic functions, you shouldn't need any setting if the phone is uncloaked. for the other stuff, you can call att for the setting (if they recognize the phone) or the phone manufacturer (if att doesn't recognize it)

  3. Depending on your service provider, you can connect through their web browsing service if WIFI is not available.

The internet would then be available anywhere you could make a phonecall.

  4. Check the Dopod 810 or Dopod 838 Pro (no radio). Also the Nokira N80 IE, though this doesnt come with GPS, in theory. You can attach GPS receivers to most PDAs so long as Bluetooth is provided.

  5. plemix how are the photo and video quality on this phone ?

  6. ooh….no…
It is not the N85 problem.
The SIM card is not available. :)

  8. when it well be release

  9. It will, so long as it's not locked into another network. Is it an unlocked phone?

  10. smartalec, that's kind of right, but not entirely.

For GSM phones, there are 3 types of data connections:

GSM data (runs over the voice channel, kind of like 'Dial-Up', but for a cell phone)

GPRS – Packet data, works kind of like a defragmentation on your computer, it clusters data and sends them in packets. It's faster than GSM data. EDGE is an accelerated version of GPRS and can achieve 200-350kbps

UMTS – the technology commonly referred to as "3g". It runs on a higher frequency (2100 MHz, sometimes called WCDMA) and is considered a "broadband" technology. It has threshold speeds of 7.2 MBPS, but anything 1.8 or higher is generally classed as "HSDPA"

HSDPA – A name for the latest revision of UMTS, generally has threshold speeds of 3.6 or 7.2 Mbps, and supports simultaneous use of voice & data (i.e. using the internet or e-mail on the phone while talking, say with a headset)

  11. you should turn of the flash when picturing close objects
